The truth is out of the bag!

With a recent study done in retro. to the Game Informer bias study, SquareTrade has issued their own survey where 2500 PS3's, 2500 360's and 11,000 Wii's were selected at random. Sadly enough Wii buyers bought more warrenties than PS3 and 360 buyers. The survey given concluded that from 2007 to the current fiscal year of 2009 that 23.7% of 360's failed, 10% PS3 failed within 2 years and 2.7% wii's failed within 2 years. Although the 360 still has the higher failure rate, it is less devastating than the 50 someodd % that GI had surveyed.

Disney Buys Marvel

In some shocking news today Disney announced that they have indeed bought Marvel for a whopping $4 billion. Fans can bet that Marvel characters will find their way to Disney's Kingdom Hearts series as well as other titles. Much is still left to announce but stay tuned for this shocking update.

God Of War Collection Coming

Sony today announced that a Bluray disc featuring God of War 1 & 2 will be releasing this holiday season for $39.99. The games have been remastered to run at 60 FPS and 720P HD. The games will also feature trophy support. Sounds like the GoW fans are getting their wishes this holiday.

Microsoft planning another Elite Bundle?

After announcing that their Elite package was going to be reduced in price to $299.99, Amazon Germany put up an ad for a "Super Elite system bundle" which includes Forza 3, 2 Wireless controllers and YES a "250 Gig HD". BT, the second retailer to list this bundle did say that Yes this bundle is coming and will retail at R4199.95, or $646.00
